For example: If your employer participates in the RTP or (soon to come) FedNow networks, once they authorize a funds transfer, it will appear in your Ashland Community Federal Credit Union account in seconds!

Instant Payments is a new and secure payment method that you can utilize to receive funds.  It happens almost instantly,  within seconds.

Instant Payments consists of two real-time networks: The RTP and FedNow networks.  RTP is active now, and FedNow network is coming soon to your Ashland Community Federal Credit Union

How Are Instant Payments Different?

Payment applications like wire transfers, bill payments, etc., usually cause a delay in processing. Instant Payments credits the payee’s deposit account within a matter of seconds after the transaction is initiated. 

Plus these services never stop!  The system is working 365 days a year, 24/7. Best of all, Ashland Community Federal Credit Union accepts these payments free of charge!

Real Time Payments are ideal for direct deposits, transfers from other financial institutions, payments from P2P (Peer to Peer) aps like Venmo, PayPal or Cash App, and more!

 

Is There a Fee?

In a word, "No"!  This is a free service for our valued Ashland Community Federal Credit Union members 

Can I send a Payment?

Not at this time.  For now, our participation in the FedNow and RTP networks is as a "receive only" institution

Is it Secure?

Absolutely.  We support real time screening of inbound transactions.  And you can see confirmation of receipts by viewing your digital account transaction history.
